Foreign Exchange Programs, Joint Research Programs

We would like to extend an invitation to the city of Fes for all universities, faculty, and students pursuing degrees in and related to gender studies

Visiting faculty have been invited in the past to give guest lectures, teach a seminar in our certificate program, or to teach semester long courses at the University of Fes. In addition, graduate, undergraduate, and other students may enroll to take Gender Studies courses at the University of Fes.

We offer foreign universities a unique opportunity to develop a long-term foreign exchange program and enrich the experience of students from both countries. We are located in the magical and ancient of Fes, a traditional Moroccan city with a lively ongoing tradition in arts & music, an environment with much to offer a visitor or resident.

Students and travelers are also invited to participate in our Moroccan Homestay Program.

NGO Partnerships & International Development

In partnership with International and local NGO's, the IGS also facilitates and conducts research projects involving women in Morocco. The IGS has unique access and permission to work with these groups of women.

Through the certificate program, the IGS trains and prepares international development workers for projects in Muslim communities. We seek to demystify cultural behaviors and explain the do's and don'ts of living in a Muslim society.
